Die X-Men Spin-Off Serie Hellfire Club steht weiterhing auf dem Produktionsplan und soll nach neuesten Erkenntnissen von Slashfilm Ende 2016 oder – wahrscheinlicher – Anfang 2017 auf dem Sender FOX erscheinen. Hellfire wird eine Co-Produktion von 20th Century Fox Television und Marvel Television. Evan Katz (24: Live Another Day), Manny Coto (24), Patrick McKay (Star Trek Beyond) und JD Payne (Star Trek Beyond) treten als co-creators auf. McKay und Payne werden das Drehbuch für die Pilotfolge schreiben, die Story stammt von Katz, Coto, McKay und Payne. Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb und Jim Chory werden als ausführende Produzenten agieren, Showrunner sind Katz und Coto.
The Hellfire Club: streben nach Weltherrschaft
Hellfire wird in den 1960er Jahren spielen und wird von 20th Century Fox Television und Marvel Television produziert. Die Handlung folgt einem jungen Special Agent, der einer gefährlichen Verschwörung auf die Schliche kommt. Eine machthungrige, mit speziellen Fähigkeiten ausgestatte, Frau arbeitet mit einer geheimen Gesellschaft von Millionären, bekannt als The Hellfire Club zusammen, um die Weltherrschaft an sich zu reißen. Die Organisation dürfte Fans aus dem Film X-Men: First Class von Matthew Vaughn bekannt sein.
